@Kittle :
It's okay every once in a while. In ceviche, it's usually chopped. These were whole baby octopus ðŸ™. Pop them right in. No different than clams, mussel, or even oysters. I tried snails (escargot) in Haiti. It was our first night, we were travel tired and decided to dine in our cabana. They were not my thing and I flushed them down the toilet. I clogged the toilet and had to call maintenance. The next night at dinner in the main dining room, our chef came to our table for a conversation. Lol he explained it is not impolite to dislike the taste or texture of a food. It is quite rude to flush a chef's meal down the toilet. He then lol and asked why I did that? I didn't know what to do with them. I didn't want to send my food back the first night on the island. Instead I made quite the spectacular entrance. He then said he'd make me a wonderful dinner. Ya gotta at least try different foods or you won't know what you truly don't like.
