Humble ISD students compete in Middle School Art Competition

Humble ISD is excited to have 15 out of the 30 finalists in the annual Middle School Art Competition!

The competition is hosted by the 2022 Bayou City Art Festival. Awards will take place on Sunday, 3/27/22.

In addition to receiving prizes, students are awarded scholarships for art classes at the Glassell School of Art in Houston.

@TownHubAdmin : I can't remember who it was, but someone's daughter on here did the drawing titled "The Hunt"

@amanda79 : It's my daughter's art. Her owl is scratch art which is everything done in reverse kinda. She worked really hard on it and I love it!
There are so many great pieces to vote on. For some reason I thought it was only open for voting through the 28th of Feb. per her Art teacher, but looks like there's lots of time to still vote. All will be on display at the Bayou Art Festival and the winners (top 3) and the people's choice winner will be announced on site. We plan to go so I'll try to remember to post as well.
