HR2 is hanging Christmas lights already!

At the entrance to the village and I am sweating!

When to turn on outside Christmas lights gets me every year. I typically don't turn mine on til mid- November. It's feels weird because very few homes around us have lights or even outside decor. Homes way down our street do and they are awesome but I feel like I'm pushing it if I turn ours on even mid-Nov. Mine are going on the house Monday ðŸŽ„

@cbear : Got our lights installed this week. We won't turn them on until Thanksgiving night.

That's a great schedule. We do something similar. No Halloween decorations, a few fall decorations in October, Thanksgiving from November 1 to Thanksgiving, Christmas from the day after Thanksgiving until January 1.

@Murry : November is here next week. They probably have so many places to do and it's hard to do some homes and businesses. Just because they're hung won't mean turned on, but I don't mind that either.

Everybody should do what they want to do. If you want to turn on Xmas lights today I think it is just fine. I wish everyday was Xmas. Celebrate today because tomorrow you might be dead. Even if you are young, you just never know,
