How do YOU feel about eggnog?

Blech too sweet and thick for my taste. Now a good winter drink using mixer is my Apple Jack. Apple cider heated on the stove, pour into mug and add a couple shots of Jack Daniels. Perfect for a cold night by a fire.

@barsinister: Yes, It can have alcohol in it but it does not have too much.Â It certainlyÂ does not have to have so much alcohol that it does not taste good.Â I like just a small amount inÂ mine.Â Â

I love putting eggnog in my coffee. My favorite brand is Promised Land old fashioned eggnog. They have a low fat version (the words low fat and eggnog should never be in the same sentence in my opinion ) called Holiday eggnog. I'm not a fan of it, it's too watery and runny. 4951

I love eggnog, Promised Land is the best, but can't drink it anymore. Lactose intolerance is not fun with that much cream. I have seen a soy based eggnog lately, but haven't gotten the courage to try it. 4951

I freaking love it, but only the fresh stuff that has to be refrigerated.Â I like it with spiced rum instead of bourbon though and thinned out with a little skim milk. 4951

Another Pennsylvania Dutch fan here.Â My father in law takes it and adds an extra shot of rum or brandy to it.Â I enjoy one small glass on Christmas Eve and then switch to wine.Â Any of that stuff is too sweet for me.Â Don't care about the fat part; could do with less sugar.Â 4951
