Hit and Run while at Kingwood Bagel. Thank you I think??? Went into Kingwood Bagel about an hour ago to pickup breakfast. While in the store our Cadillac was hit by a white SUV. Female driver got out wearing a black and red top to look at the damage. They left a note and cash but no number. Thankfully the homeless guy that walked up to me while I was looking at the damage and note did not take the cash while I was in KB. I am sure the damage will be more than what was left. One of the restaurants is pulling their video footage. Careful out there Kingwood.

@jonton2 : i would fix that myself and claim the cash. Doesn't look that bad.

@jonton2 : My deductible alone is $500. The damage is thankfully minimal but I'd absolutely get it taken care of. What's the point of having nice things if you don't take care of them? Sorry this happened to you. Hope you're able to get it sorted with footage.

Is that a bandaid for their conscience? If they were seriously interested in covering expenses, they would have left more info or waited for your return.

On the other hand, we were hit in a parking lot - no note - nothing - and the damage was far more.

@jonton2 : Wow. But definitely be careful. Unfortunately we overpay for insurance for just these instances. Most who are uninsured are judgement proofâ€¦â€¦..selfish idiots
