@1836 : Exactly, what was the need to ask a question that has no relevance to the issue at hand? A question that was presented in an accusatory manner! You and she are the problems we face and a showing of misguided concerns for the wrong reasons! Trust this, I do not have to debate right and wrong with you, her, or anyone else! I understand that I am now under review by the mods. No love loss, I am not sorry that I hurt someone's feelings. I don't have to be here and I really don't care! You are either a solution or a problem! This forum will not make me back down and if the mods want to sensor me so be it! You have not seen what I have seen or dealt with what I and other LEO's and prosecutors have had to deal with. The safety and the identification of problems that mainly are perpetrated by the youth and the abdication of parental oversight of their children in OUR community needs to be addressed! Are we a society of no consequence for the actions of our children or the lack of parenting by their parents? Those issues should be at the forefront of our concerns! Thank me later!

@mutton : That was my first thought too! I've only read the first few post though.

I do not think prosecuting these future prison inmates is a waste of time. Too often these criminals are allowed to get away with things and they move on to bigger crimes. Parents of juveniles should be held accountable for their kids actions. Who knows what else they they have doing?? Breaking into cars, homes...lots of crime here

@JoseV : That's great that y'all are making these kids take responsibility. And thank you for being concerned enough to want to get these items back to the owners. Some people would not even bother to do that. Hopefully these kids are scared to death right now. That's about the only thing that might put them on the right track. Again thank you

@JoseV : Unruly parents and their spawn - lol love it. Speaking for myself, I don't necessarily assume a bad kid is a result of bad parenting. I've seen great kids raised by ****** parents and terrible kids raised by great parents.

@mutton : Agreed. These are legit questions. Also wondering why the gruff and crusty attitude and tone with the KDC members. We all have a past and life experience, but it's not necessary to take it out on a group of people one has just joined. People don't warm up to being barked at and demeaned from the beginning. Read the room...tone means everything.

It's clearly relevant.@JoseV : This is laughable from a retired police detective. Accusatory questions are major tool of detectives.
