My husband spoke viewed the plans for this the other day. We were a little concerned since we live close by, but after he viewed the plans we are more at ease. While it is big, it should look exactly like the current house. I don't think it will be the eye sore everybody is anticipating.

If I didn't know better I'd say it was built all original.

I say there are a bunch of jealous neighbors on here. This thread is the primary reason I don't talk to my neighbors. It gives me good reason when they say something smart ellic and I can cuss them out in front of their kids. I have encouraged a few youths to ignore their parents because they don't know what the hell they are talking about.

>> Let's wait and see what the finished project will look like first before we start crying over spoil milk we haven't purchased yet.@bubbleyes72:  Question?  So if it is completed and thousands of dollars spent and it is an ugly eyesore, the property values go down because of an industrial building in the neighborhood, what then?  It is a little late after completion.Why bother even have deed restrictions if the HOA will grant variances for something like this?.   The point of all of this was the HOA send letters about weed in a flower bed when it has rained for a month straight or other insignificant items and then allows something like this?  Good Grief a friend of mine got denied putting up a new fence composite fence because the color of brown they wanted was not on the HOA's list.   @tatertot58: Why get all worked up before knowing what the final outcome will look like??  Have you gone to KSA and reviewed what was submitted???  Have you attended a board meeting to ask??  What are you accomplishing by complaining to us???  I am not trying to be rude but I know how strict KSA is and if I were you I would go look at what the final project will look like and then move forward from there...   Right now there are too many IFS.....   If it doesn't fit in... If It's ugly.... If is doesn't match the house...   Get the facts then you can fight your battle if needed. Good Lick....  I know in my neighborhood this would NOT be approved unless it matched the house perfectly.

Bear Branch Village has some architectural firsts thanks to the "brilliant" people that serve on the board who have exemplified their ignorance they also wear proudly on their sleeves. This isn't the first architectural abortion they have approved. On River Lawn is the "fire station, a two story garage and apartment stained redwood red. Then their is the Taj Mahal on Lost Lake with ugly architecture that doesn't blend with the other homes. And now, their approval and the granting of a variance for the Taxi Garage on Sandy Fork.I ask myself why does this board have no taste or consideration whatsoever! Why are they so concerned with the height of lawns etc. but yet allow a structure to be built that is totally out of line with the deed restrictions and does not blend with the neighborhood architecture!I am going to the next BBCA monthly meeting and ask for their resignation. We can't go on with the people that serve on this board.
