Harris County Precinct 2 Mourns the Loss of Deputy CoddouStatement from Commissioner Adrian Garcia:"I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Deputy Investigator John H. Coddou, a 20-year law enforcement veteran. This morning, Deputy Coddou was assisting at a crash scene where he was hit and killed in the line of duty. As a former Sheriff, I will always remember days like today as the toughest. For me, it was always difficult to lose one of my own and then give the news to the family. I don't wish that on anyone, and I know how difficult this is for Sheriff Gonzalez, the entire HCSO team, and the deputy's family.
