A Harris Co Sheriff Officer was killed when he was off-duty and witnessed a crime in progress and began to approach the suspects last night. It happened on 1960 at Aldine Westfield. Prayers for his family.

His wife was with him when the shooting occurred. How traumatic it must've been for her. So sad.

According to the address, the robbery took place at Joe V's.
Condolences to the Deputy's family and to the HCSO.
I appreciate all of the LEOs who put their lives on the line every day.
I hope they caught the thug(s) responsible.

@CaffeineFree : I heard on the news the officer was able to get some shots fired and hit 2 of the 3 suspects. The suspects drove themselves to the hospital and are detained. They were trying to steal a catalytic converter.
