This is happening right now at Hâ€‘Eâ€‘B parking lot. I wonder how much longer is she going to be out here with that little girl? Very sad ðŸ¥²

Thinking any of the churches on West Lake Houston will have Social Services to help....food, shelter...for near term.

@Cstomio123 : She will be out there until she has enough money for dinner and monthly rent. And if she does really well, she'll be back tomorrow so she can earn enough to pay the monthly car note.

@Cstomio123 : Totally not fair to use her as bait to get people to hand over their money, but that's what they do. As long as sad saps are handing over the cash, the kid is used as bait.

The only way to stop it is to quit giving out the free cash.

@buffaloglenn : Yep, the kid is a prop, it's sickening. I wish the cops would at least chase them out of our area which as of now, is still nice. But this is so trashy looking..

@Cstomio123 : I saw that around noon. My anger got the better of me and I shook my finger at her. Do NOT use your children as pawns for begging. Ugh how terrible. These people are WELL aware there are food banks on every corner in Houston. There are shelters for women and children everywhere. The salvation army for instance will put these in a hotel off site or house them on site ON THE SPOT.

In my opinion addictions are what send people to the desperation of street begging - and bleeding hearts KEEP them on the streets.

Street beggars on busy streets (not parking lots) are bold and annoying. They literally walk right out in between cars right up to your window. This is NUTS. STOP encouraging beggars. Give them a sammy and watch their disappointment.

@buffaloglenn: The todler was sitting on a case of water. I didn't have extra clothes except for what I was wearing. I honestly think that giving things won't resolve the problem . They seem to do this stuff as a 9 to 5 job, Idk
