@FenderBass : I just stated I went to HEB on May 4, 2020, bought a dozen eggs cost $2.07 a dozen so I don't know why people are saying they are paying more, 4951

@chasinghosts : Gulf shrimp isn't always the cleanest or best. I think a lot of the frozen shrimp is outsourced. I've had both and I just like shrimp so don't care. I'd rather buy anything American but it has to be good. 4951

@cupid517 : We do not go into the store, we only use Curbside. I have no doubt that if you go into any store, you can find stuff for a better price. In our case, they are $6.24 when they show up in the search for items. In fact, I have attached a photo fro just a few minutes ago... I search on Large eggs and the photo represents all of the results. Even they are cheaper for real, I am not taking a chance of paying that much. Since I will only use Curbside, I am at the mercery of what shows up on the web... And I will not go into a store yet. I'm 70 with major heart and respiratory issues and it just isn't worth taking the risk when there are other choices. For us, we just get them at a different store.

BTW, that search result hasn't changed in weeks. 4951

@FenderBass : I was at HEB this evening while at the egg section because of the recent issues I did notice different prices for different eggs. I buy the same eggs each time which are not the cheapest but as I stated before cost $2.07, but I saw a range of prices on the eggs. The most expensive were the dozen organic eggs which were a little above $6.00, then various egg prices were at $3 plus, $4 plus, I think the cheapest were $1.40 a dozen. I do all the shopping for the family and my price for eggs has been roughly near the $2 range most of the time. When I read the article about the egg prices I was little shocked. 4951
