@mutton : Yes I freeze blueberries too. I go to the blueberry Farm every summer sometimes more than once and pick pounds in pounds. Then I freeze them for use later in the year. I love frozen blueberries.
@Weathergirl5 : I have a frozen blueberry banana smoothie every morning for breakfast. We buy tons and tons of frozen blueberries. 3 people drinking that smoothie every day, that's a lot of blueberries!
@Weathergirl5 : Yes when the kids were young we did it every year. They had a great time. Last time I went there the blueberries were more expensive per pound than you could buy them on sale in the grocery store. But it is a very fun outing though.
@Donnawisdom : Yes the price has gone up a lot over the past few years. I think they are $3.75 a pound now. Still a good deal compared to the pint they sell in the store but like you said sometimes you can get a better deal on a sale. A couple of weeks ago I got 18 ounces of blueberries for $1.97 at HEB.
