those houses on Walnut but don't like the traffic and the giant ditches

Reivax : Were you going to buy that big grey one level house just before the bridge? I like those houses on Walnut but don't like the traffic and the giant ditches

@Tumu_ : lol, yes! We were looking for a place with a seperate unit above the garage, for my parents, and big driveway where we could fit a RV overhang/garage.

@Reivax : Love that house, I looked at it. new owners built a really nice shop behind it..... I like that big red barn looking house also

@Tumu_ : I know the one you mean, I watched that house for 10 years... never went up for sale, lol (I used to drive on Walnut every day to take my kids to Foster elementary, I wasn't a creeper or anything)

I haven't read this entire thread but I hope someone brings up at the meeting what Perry Homes did to Elm Grove . This sounds like it could lead to the same results. Harris County and COH paid lots of money for Perry Homes' property to remedy the situation for Elm Grove.

Forest Cove Variance Public Hearing Information The COH planning commission hearing is THIS THURSDAY at 2:30pm! You can attend in person at City Hall Annex Building , 900 Bagby Street. OR Register to Attend virtually in Microsoft Teams by going to www.houstonplanning.com or call 832-393-6624 (72 hours prior to the meeting) This green space has been part of Kingwoods Livable Forest for over 60 years and I think it would be really sad to see it go in favor of 128 cookie cutter homes. If you live in Forest Cove/Kingwood and you don't want this, please make sure your voice is heard. In addition to more flooding, traffic and concrete, look at what we stand to lose. Let me know here if you plan on attending.

@ZMAN : I think you should go en masse and ask them to tear down some aweful areas and build on them instead.
