First craving following long stretch of dieting or healthy eating We all know that no one can sustain a perfect diet forever, and occasionally indulge in the forbidden foods. What is that first thing you seriously crave after dieting/eating healthy, etc. for a long period of time? Pizza, tex-mex, greasy burger and fries, maybe. For me, it's usually a fastfood burger, but we've had some great, at-home burgers that were lean, sodium-free and loaded with fresh veggies.
@donnatella : I eat reasonably healthy most of the time and have never been on a diet, but I would say that after a hiking/camping trip where I've only had packaged meals with water for a few days, I crave high protein/high fat foods like pizza, burgers, etc. I'm sure it's the calorie deficit that causes those types of cravings.
