ZMAN : That's great. I'm trying to work on 8 to 10 thousand a day. I do one or two classes a day at the y but they don't always add up to a lot of steps. I just read Take Control of Your Heart Disease Risk by John Whyte He talked about how important it was to walk at least 30 minutes a day no matter what, no excuses. The one I remember is even if there's a tornado coming. I remember that one because I read it on the day we had warnings. 😳
@Gingersnap : Yep, I haven't missed a day in 3 months. I started with a 30 minute walks and have worked my way up to being able to do an hour and a half at about a 15:40 per mile pace.
I used to be on 3 blood pressure meds, now Im on 1. Total weight loss so far is 28lbs.
