The enclave has them bad. Who is paying for the traps? I hear it is expensive. Can't the HOA take care of that? 4951

Must be a wooded area to have the hogs that badly. They are horrible here, we've taken a couple dozen just from the woods at the back of our own yard. It's crazy really. 4951

Could I get a property Owner's permission to use a crossbow to kill a few hogs? No loud noise to disturb anyone. Please send a message if you're would like me to stop by for a few evenings to see if any pigs show up. 4951

Is there a plan to use them? Hogs for a Cause is an organization specifically benefitting local
communities by donating thousands of pounds of wild boar. Their ground
crew teams up with aerial hunting companies to pick up downed boars and
take them to their processing unit, where they dress the animals and get
them ready for donations to local non-profits and families who need
meat. But just how safe are these pigs to eat? "They're definitely
safe," Hogs for a Cause founder Dave Haehn said. "In addition to that,
this is the freshest, best tasting hog you're going to find anywhere."

@beastmode:
I know guys who hunt that say feral hog meat is not always great...never had so not sure. 4951

@mutton: With wild game you have to know how to cook it and season it. Even deer meat taste rough if not cooked right.

it also depends on the time of year, i.e. what they are eating and whether or not it is a heavy breeding time. and, of course, if it is a male or female.... 4951

@tatertot58:  One of the problems is that hogs will swim out to the islands when pressured in developed areas.  Then, when things quiet down, they swim back, probably with a litter of little ones.

I had some of the best pulled pork (wild) last weekend at a wedding. Probably in the top 5 of any pork I've eaten.

@Chrisinkingwood:

?????

@BooBear: Sorry BooBear but every news source seems to be asking Trump and he obliges with the claim the he will have a plan or advisers or something. Just seemed kind of amusing to me at the time I posted..... Sorry....
