Fake winner!

Got this from Ace today. More than a little suspicious as part of the ad is cut off and you can't read it.

@luannski : They do have a loyalty program. It's like a rewards you give them your phone number and they send you some coupons every now and then not very many though

Ok look. If you receive an email like this, the BEST away to see if it's legit is to hit REPLY.(Don't send anything).

If you see the senders email address other than a legitimate Ace Hardware address then it's BOGUS.
See the following pictures. This email was legit.

I've been getting swamped with these kinds of "reward" emails from True Value, Stanley Tools, Ace Hardware, Walmart, LifeVac, Kohls, Club Car, as well as a ton of "samurai knife", "eye wrinkles", "deals", cbd gummies, and a load of other crap. It's a whole new range of scams to get responses and collect your personal information. Don't fall for it.

@BookMan : pretty sure you can just hold the curser over the sender's name and it will show the sender's address without having to hit "Reply"....

@luannski : I get similar from "walmart'; they will send you to a link that will ask for TOO much personal info. Don't ever click one of those links, though, they can 'backdoor' all of the info on your computer; giving someone access to everything you have there!
