East Montgomery County Improvement District Hosts Signing Ceremony with GCP Paper USA, IncThe East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID) hosted a signing ceremony with GCP Paper USA, Inc., commemorating its purchase of 32 acres in the EMC Industrial Park, a $400 million investment. GCP is a leading producer of private-label tissue products, like toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins for Sam’s Club, Walmart, HEB, Costco and Aldi. GCP Paper has agreed to donate $100,000 to the EMC Scholarship Foundation, a nonprofit subsidiary of EMCID, and agreed to hire 51 percent of its employees from EMC.
