@catperson1 : I love the one you have circled. It is very nice but you will need a long coat. Funerals are much more casual so you could go with a pants suit.

@catperson1 : I believe any of the 3 would be fine. Since the weather is cold, you could even go with pants and a nice sweater.

Houston National Cemetery is where my uncle is buried. We are putting my in-laws cremated remains there this year.

Will there be an inside service or will it be outside? If all outside I would dress warmly- probably a nice pair of slacks and coat.

@catperson1 :
If you need a dressy coat, you may want to check out Trendsetters consignment shop on Rustic Woods. A pretty coat with long slacks would be totally appropriate in this weather.

I would go with black slacks, a sweater and long coat if it's going to be chilly outside.

@catperson1 : I agree with dark slacks, nice sweater with maybe a pretty necklace and earrings with a coat. The most recent funerals that I have attended both indoors and outdoors the women mostly wore dress slacks regardless of weather. With the cold weather, that would be very reasonable.
Also unless you will be on paved areas the entire time, I would suggest low heeled shoes.

When I buried my husband there at this time 3 years ago it was cold. All the ladies, including me, wore casual pants, blouse, sweaters, and/or a coat. Most men dressed casually, too. And you don't have to wear black. Times have changed. Just keep it simple and respectful.

The last funerals we went to, my wife and I were the most dressed up people there. My wife insisted that we needed nice funeral wear since our remaining parents, aunts, and uncles were all getting pretty old. Then I find out that people now wear blue jeans and shorts? What……… I wanted to dress like everyone else.

Do you know what my wife said?

"Why do you want to compare yourself to the lowest common denominator? You weren't raised like that and you can't act like a redneck." So I said OK. You have to pick your battles…..

@catperson1 : At first I thought you lost two grandchildren. I see now it was two grandparents instead. Just wear something dark and warm enough for the weather. Honey's family will appreciate your support! That is the important thing! Love ❤️
