@Labslady : You have it on you're mind. Don't push it and the right solution will come to you. One of the best things about getting older is to realize you've been here before and look where you are now ??

@Labslady : Another thought here. Retired folks like to be close to the kids. This isn't the the 80's. Kids will raise families and move to other cities with their professions and they may do it again. So really think before you decide to chase them and living closer. My kids are in three different states and I'm comfortable here in the KW bubble. That's why they make airplanes !!

@billcherie2 : Very true. There won't be any grandchildren and the eldest is the only one we'd have to follow. Special needs DS will go with us no matter where we go. We like KW but we both want out of the humidity and Hurricane Land. Tired of the threat and tired of the damage and hassle when we do get one.
We go back and forth but for the next 6 months we finish the house, watch the market, finances and stock market. We may not be rich but we are sitting in a nice positionHubs' biggest fear is What now? As you can see we are very busy but for him he loves the thrill of a sale and the monetary reward it brings. For me? Nothing changes-always been a STAH Mom and house wife. I wonder just how many layers of paint can you put on a wall 🤣🤣
