@cbear : I get it, you were a kid! Also, giggling and laughter are great to feel and hear! I like people that laugh easily! But, there are really times when it's totally inappropriate. Reminds me of the time in 7th grade when my Mother went to Parents Open House. The parents would spend 15 minutes in each class following our same daily schedule. At the time, my history teacher was a real painful piece of work that just didn't like me at all and of course I was not doing very well in the class. I dreaded going to history every day! For the period before history I had art class so when the art teacher asked us to draw a cartoon of one of our teachers, yep, you guessed it! I drew a cartoon of that history teacher! It was so good, no one could have not known it was him. It was also not at all complimentary! I got an A on it!
So, back to Parents Open House and yep, my Mom saw the cartoon, then went to my history class and laughed so much in there that the history teacher asked her what the heck her problem was! AND SHE TOLD HIM ALL ABOUT IT, RIGHT THERE IN THE ROOM WITH ALL THE OTHER PARENTS!
Later, on the way home, when I found out what happened, I cursed as we were rolling into the driveway. That was the last spanking I ever got. Funny, I still curse all the time!
There is a time for self control and my Mom never learned when that was/is!
Guess what grade I made in history!
