@Jonn : I identify. Did you leave faucets dripping between checks? We did. Overkill perhaps but after having a pipe in the garage break in 2021 we are not taking any chances.
Jonn : Ok guys well.....faucet dripping is coming to an end!
@cbear : Yes!! No more dripping, and we closed the attic doors. Life back to normal around here. Well, once I get all the holiday stuff put away. I love normal.

@Kittle : No not this time. Just turned on both for a minute and flushed commodes.
What lovely cats. When you get older then getting up every few minutes is a regular thing as the bladder will not allow a person to sleep the night through. One reason Michael and I don't share a bed is that he gets up to go and then when he gets back in bed and is almost dozed off then it is my turn to get up and go and thus we keep each other awake all night long. Old age and a weak bladder really adds to the quality of life. Michael and I planned a big wedding but then decided not to do that because if we got married then one of us would need to move in with the other. By the time one of us shifts our stuff to the other's house then perhaps one of us will die and then all the stuff would have to be shifted back to where it was. So now we just stay together when we want to but have no plans to do any big moving. We both have houses full of stuff and it would be a big job to move in together. I paid a guy a lot of money a few years ago to get in there and super insulate every pipe in the house. Seems to still be OK.
