Current Power Outage Maps:
For those still curious about the power status.

First Two images show Centerpoint outages as of 10 July at 4:00 PM.
(The map shows a large swath of 'green' status area, but per the legend, this is indicative of a powered grid with nested outages within the grid. This is likely just a 'color the entirety of the powered grid' and not specified down to customers specifically receiving power.)

Entergy Map as of 10 July at 4:17 PM.

@FlapOperator : Those green areas are still OUT though.

@StormChaser : Well, the map does indicate that there may be nested outages in the green areas, so likely those grids are online primarily powering essential services, and a few lucky homes.

Nobody around us in the green have any power at all so these maps are inaccurate or something

When I first started looking at this map today (I think who even knows what day it is) there were only 3 options with the light green being Energized. I jumped in the car and ran home, to no power. I've basically lost all hope and need to figure out how to work and live my life on the road, hoping for power and internet.

@maykim : It's certainly irritating and misleading on their part, likely why they added to the map legend, and also likely why they just didn't have a map in the first place.
