Why is there a hole in that hand?
I remember seeing a study, or it might have been an episode of Mythbusters, that proved firing a gun sideways is much less accurate. 4951

@purpletulips : Not sure, it was the first picture that I grabbed off the internet to use as an illustration.

I've not seen that episode of mythbusters (sounds like a good episode), but there are many who say that a marksman can justify the practicality of this method of grip. Thus why my original comment was
