Constable Praises Deputies' Dedication to Maintaining Community Safety.
In a series of proactive law enforcement investigations, Deputies from Constable Kenneth “Rowdy†Hayden’s’ Office successfully apprehended several individuals involved in criminal activities across the area, demonstrating their dedication and compassion toward maintaining public safety.
On February 4th, 2024, at approximately 3:04 PM, deputies were dispatched to the Porter Walmart in response to a shoplifting incident.
Upon arrival, the suspect, identified as 64-year-old Debra Spears of Porter, TX, was detained.
Spears, who had an active trespassing warning for the location, was arrested for Criminal Trespass.
Further complications arose when Spears attempted to conceal methamphetamine upon her arrival at the Montgomery County Jail. Deputies prevented the destruction of the substance, resulting in an additional charge of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance against Spears.
Merely a minute later, around 3:05 PM, a Precinct 4 Deputy conducting a patrol near FM 1485 East in New Caney initiated a traffic stop on FM 1485 E near Wilderness Road.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Jose De Jesus Perez of New Caney, was arrested for felony Possession of a Controlled Substance following a thorough investigation.
The following day, February 5th, 2024, around 1:00 PM, Deputies responded to a theft in progress at the same Porter Walmart.
The suspect, 31-year-old James Hernandez of New Caney, TX, was located in the parking lot.
An investigation revealed narcotics and stolen merchandise in Hernandez's possession, leading to his arrest.
Additionally, during an investigation off Morgan Cemetery Road in Cleveland, TX, Deputies apprehended Dustin Parrish, 43 years of age from Cleveland, TX, who had 16 outstanding misdemeanor warrants through Montgomery County, TX.
