Power was out at doctors office when I got here. A woman was stuck in the elevator between floor. They had to call elevator tech to get her out. When power came back on, I took the stairs.

Yeah, SCW botched the forecast on this morning's rain. OTOH, everyone is wrong sometimes. Atmospheric dynamics are VERY complex and even our best models are imperfect, and always will be.

I'm just glad we got the rain, however

@jwardl : Eric played the climate change card yesterday talking about the May temperatures in Galveston, so Gulf Coast Texas weather called his bet today. It happens.

@IzzysMommy : Was headed back from Brenham and rain got us on 99 around Tomball. It was quite the gully washer. With added strong winds.

This was on my way back. I'm sitting in the parking lot of the HEB gas station.

@MainelyLA21 : That's the top of one of the types of oaks we have in this area which tend to get hollow or partly hollow trunks. They are weak and break or fall over easily, compared to pine trees.
