Clint Eastwood is showing he's not letting age slow him down after making a rare public appearance in California ahead of his 94th birthday.
The filmmaker was spotted attending a speaking event hosted by renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall in his adoptive hometown of Carmel-by-the-Sea late last month.
Eastwood is no stranger to primates, having starred in 1978 film Every Which Way but Loose alongside his orangutan sidekick Clyde.

Wow, I knew he was getting up there in age, but I hate seeing him feeble. He was always such a bad**** tough guy, and I still see him in that way.

In 1964, Jane Goodall's husband Hugo van Lawick took a photo of her and an infant chimp reaching out to each other. Decades later, it continues to impact how we view chimpanzees.

This is shocking but he's always been thin. It's the hair in the beard that are throwing me off he looks scraggly and unkempt which is strange. But it's sad to see someone like him aging, especially someone like him.

@sweetie : Guess he is relaxing and enjoying his 90s and isn't worried about his appearance. Thought it was great that he wanted to go hear Jane Goodall speak. Probably still has that twinkle in his eyes.
