CHRISTMAS CRAFT NIGHT - IMPROMPTU PARTY ... ONE NIGHT ONLY, Tuesday, December 5th at 7PM at our house!!!

This month's Craft Night is going to be a little bit different! In addition to normal activities, we're having an impromptu Christmas thank you party to all of you who come!

I want this to be about you! In the first half of this evening we're going to have a night where you can share about the things YOU have created for Christmas that were a bit different, and surprised you with how well they came out ... something you built or made for Christmas, cost cutting ideas, entertaining ideas! Bring photos or items you had success with for Christmas, and tell us how you created them! I am going to share with you how I created a Christmas bedroom fit for an Open House for under $1.00!

Here's another example: These giant Christmas table ornaments were made from ugly polka dotted paper mache balls, and leftover finial ornaments. I cut a hole in the bottom of these ugly paper mache balls, glued in a finial ornament, painted them red and gold, and decorated them with those fluffy ribbon bows and trim! They became a beautiful Christmas table centerpiece for under $20!

In the second half, several of you have asked me to teach how to MAKE those big fluffy bows, like in the photo above, used in Christmas decorating! I will ask each of you who come to bring at least 5 yards of your favorite 2-1/2 to 4-inch wired ribbon ( not velvet), and I will show you how to make those large fluffy bows they charge WAY too much to make for you! Depending on the time frame, we MAY talk about how to bring extra beauty to those family trees that are filled with a mix of family ornaments, including a few cost cutting ideas!

As a way of having an impromptu party, and as my thank you to all of you, I am going to provide small gifts for each person who comes, because I know this season can be a bit financially rough for you, and I want to make coming easy for you, but we're going to give you a chance to swap gifts from each other! Bring a Christmas snack if you like, but you are not obligated to!

If you have never come before, please don't let this hold you back!! You are more than welcome, and bring a friend as well, if you like. Men and women are welcome alike! Just please let me know here or by PM if you are coming!

@BrendaT :
You and SteveT are such wonderful people to open your home like this to total strangers! I won't be able to make it, but it sounds fun! I would like the opportunity to meet some of the KDC members in person one of these days. Have fun, God Bless You and Merry Christmas!
