Reivax : It's more the smell and poop than the noise

@RueHic : Chickens stink. Their poop stinks. They poop all over everywhere they drop it while they walk. When they got into my yard they pooped all over my patio . I had to hose it off and then soon as I did they pooped on it again. Better to buy a dozen eggs at the store then to spend $1000 getting chickens and a chicken coop and then having to clean up after them. Yuck

Txbutterfly : don't let sweetie see that. The next thing you know they'll be all over Forest Cove and the RV Park and she'll be selling eggs for $12/dozen.

Reivax : I'm still trying to figure how she was able to rechristen Delaware Blue hens as Dallas Blue Star hens.

It's interesting to me that as a society we're all perfectly OK with 100+ decibels of leaf blowers, trimmers and lawn mowers 7 days a week, but the soft constant clucking of some hens is too much.
