Good morning all. Just wanted to update a little for some that may have never attended a meet up and want to join us for Carol888 memorial celebration. Potluck participation is only if you feel like bringing food to nosh on. The event is from noon till ? Come and go as you have time. Band starts at 2. Some of us will hang around most of the day....if we don't fall out from the heat 🥵 Brat our host w the most, will put up a tent for us to try and keep coolish, at least be shaded. Please stop by and say hi, share your favorite memories and stories with Carol's family and friends. You won't have a problem finding us, we will be very visible. Back pew also serves water and non alcohol drinks, you are also welcome to bring a cooler w non alcohol beverages. Children have a playground and huge field to play and dogs are welcome on a leash. Txbutterfly : I said long time ago Im coming but staying only little while. Driving to Austin early next morning to pick up grands. Plus yall know this weenie don't do heat. As for storing sammy's on ice…….yall know how round those trays are………I have no way to keep them cool, so fair warning - come hungry, eat my Sammies within two hours. 🤗. Im happy to bring fruit & veggie trays instead. I figure a protein is needed though so unless I hear otherwise, sticking with plan.
