@Ruger5 : You really do find some back roads. Years ago I drove with a friend to take her nephew back to KY after a visit. After getting off mind you so it was late. I honestly did not think we would make it back out the the holler where her family lived. We were driving from Columbus, OH so it was several hours to and back. Just about an all night trip. Scared to death is an understatement. Narrow roads pitch black not able to see anything off sides could only see the road in the headlights. If I had to live in a place like that I would never go out at night.

These are dwellings that are on the road to Loretta's home place. Serious question. Why???? Is it despair? Poverty? Laziness?

@magnoliamam : Two big bubbas pulled up behind us as we pulled into the store where Loretta's dad cashed his coal miners checks…..thought they might've seen me taking pics & came to kill us. Lol.
