So I got the Naan bread from Sam's Club
@chasinghosts, it's in the bakery section...I believe it comes in a pack of 8. The Sauce I made was
6 oz tomato paste (1 can)
15 oz tomato sauce (1 can)
1-2 TBS oregano to taste
2 TBS Italian seasoning (I substituted with Dash original seasoning blend this time bc we didn't have Italian seasoning on the boat)
½ tsp garlic powder
2 tsp garlic salt
You can add sugar about a tsp of sugar but I don't...
Mix the paste and sauce together and ensure the paste is thoroughly mixed...no clumps. Then add everything else...mix up really well.
Preheat the oven to 425°. On a baking sheet place two of the Naan breads and bake them for 2 -3 minutes before adding the ingredients....makes it crisper. Remove them from the oven and spread out the sauce...thickness to your liking. I then added my toppings to liking...this time it was only diced onions, sliced cherry tomatoes...we didn't have pepperoni or and other meats on-board for pizza. Then I top it all with cheese...usually a mixture of Cheddar Cheese and mozzarella. Back for approximately 13 minutes... 4951
