@Lulurebel : Check their website or Facebook page and they usually update when they will be open. Occasionally they open on a random day during the week so if you are off during the week you might be able to go then too. It might also be less crowded then. 4951

@TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Yes I have memories like that too. I brought a cooler with some drinks in it and we ate before we left. Normally in the past if we would've been there for several hours I would have brought sandwiches or something. They used to have a snow cone place up there to those were always so refreshing after a hot day of picking. It might've still been there but was closed by the time we left Saturday. 4951

@HappyHerself : We talked to one of the Moorhead guys. He said to prepare the soil and tend to blueberry bushes the same as Azalea bushes. And you need at least 2. 4951

@Weathergirl5 : It's healing well. It still sore if I grab something with that hand. The incision is more deep than it is long. Yes I'm flexing it many times through out the day. It's pretty stiff in the morning but not all that painful. Can't make a tight fist yet though. 4951

@NeenaC0629 : Sounds like you are starting to improve little by little each day. That is good. I'm glad the stitches will be out today. Before too long hopefully you will be able to make a fist and have full range of motion. 4951

@NeenaC0629 : That sounds promising, thanks! Year after year our azaleas in our Kingwood yard have been very successful -- I mulch them with pine needles from the pine trees next to the azaleas. Pine cones that fall on the lawn get tossed into those landscape beds, as well. It would be easy to care for blueberry bushes the same way. 4951

@HappyHerself : The berries were so ripe over the weekend. They were falling off of the bushes if you barely touched the branch. 4951

@HappyHerself : It really was. I even started picking some of the really ripe ones off the ground, obviously the ones that were not stepped on and smashed. EmoticonThey had the best flavor. 4951

@Weathergirl5 : i love that place! I make a vanilla cake mix into cupcakes (add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to the mix, eggs, oil and pudding, too, or buy a mix with it already in it. , I drop some berries at the top of each cupcake, after I fill the paper liner cups. the berries 'migrate' down and leave a delicious trail of berrydom, as they go. You can do this with a muffin mix, too. I like Krusteauz, and just use the fresh berries. We turn them upside down, and peel of the paper, and eat it from the 'blue side' of the cupcake or muffin. 4951
