My friend and I went to Moorhead's blueberry Farm up in Conroe late yesterday afternoon and picked tons of blueberries. I picked about 7 pounds in about one hour. They still have lots of berries. So if you are looking for something fun to do today head on over there. They said this might be their last weekend of the season. 4951

@Weathergirl5 :
You too. Has anyone ever told you your berries look sweet? Lol
Happy Sunday to you too. I plan on a nice relaxing day. Maybe even a few mid day libations. We shall see what noon time holds. Lol 4951

@Weathergirl5 : Are the grounds soggy? Do I need my rubber boots? 4951

@beadweaver : LOL no I think you are the first person who has ever told me my berries look sweet ha ha Ha I hope you have a relaxing day. It's been a busy morning of chores here so far. I hope to get them knocked out within the next few hours so I can relax some this afternoon. 4951

@NeenaC0629 : No the grounds were not soggy at all. At least where we went. There were a few mud puddles on the way out there once you hit the gravel road, but they were easy to avoid. I did wear my crocs with socks so I could come home and hose them off. Not necessarily because of the mud, but you will get lots of blueberries stuck to the bottom of your shoes. I know from past experience they are a bit of a pain to get out of tennis shoe grooves. 4951

@NeenaC0629 : By the way, I don't normally wear tennis shoes with my crocs, but I was afraid there might be ticks out there.Emoticon 4951

Looks like you got a great haul! How late were you there? I don't do so well in the heat but I love blueberries. Was it crowded? 4951

@Weathergirl5 : Did you mean socks with your crocs because wearing tennis shoes with crocs sounds kind of bulky. 4951

@Weathergirl5 : How much are they charging a pound? When my kids were little I took them there. No one really like it, but my butler was a good sport. 4951

@Weathergirl5 : My neighbor and I went over and picked earlier. It was HOT! Together we picked 6#. There were allot of berries high up and in the center of the bushes. And… a lot on the ground. 4951

@NeenaC0629 : Y'all went today? It was HOT. I was just saying to my mom earlier "man it feels so much hotter today." I am glad you went though and picked a lot of berries. I would get inside the bushes and pull those really tall branched down towards me and then pick them. Those were the best. 4951
