@Brat : If you look at Pinterest, there are many recipes for ranger cookies, also sometimes called cowboy cookies. You can also search with "Betty Crocker" and several variations will come up. We always used cornflakes, but I see some use Rice Krispies instead of corn flakes. Others add chocolate chips or raisins or craisins or nuts. I couldn't find my mom's recipe but saw this one that sounded like hers. By the way, these do dry out if you don't eat them quickly, but a bakers tip: if any cookies dry out/get stale…..put a piece of fresh white bread in the container and soon the bread gets stale and cookies soften. I haven't cooked with solid Crisco in a long time, but I guess you can substitute butter. 4951
