My trick to making these good and filling: I take a lil over half a can of refried beans, put em in a food storage bag, add 3-4 tablespoons of salsa, hold the bag shut and mash it all together into something like the consistency of cream of wheat maybe? Then I cut a corner off the bag and use it like a chefs pastry bag like you would decorate a cake with icing designs/writing and put the refried beans all over the chips before I add on all the other ingredients. Not sure how novel my approach is or not, but it makes for good nachos 4951

@Chickensnickers : That would be better without the onions, jalapeños, tomatoes, and peppers. Then it would be perfect but it does look good 4951

You could just throw all the fixings into a blender and pour over the chips. It wouldn't be as pretty. 4951
