sweetie : Thank you, but the funny thing is that he gets really bashful when people thank him. It was an honor for him and he doesn't want thanks. He went on to graduate college and became an officer. He has been out for a year or so and is a firefighter in Ca.

Basic training graduation day!!!! Today's the day!! Big guy is graduating this morning at 9am!!!!

@yankeejessica : Oh that is great - he will be within easy driving distance if he gets some leave or you want to visit. My little sailor was shipped off to Michigan for nuk training and then to the Pacific NW. He's heading to Georgia now.

I know you are proud of him. Basic is basic in name only. It's hard work in a difficult environment. Wish your son luck at Shepard. 4951

@TexasOma : Nope but the gateway wing channel on YouTube has it and it was live on fb. My cadet actually ordered us the video too. Didn't know til we called and ordered the
