My baby is officially a high school graduate as of Wednesday. I am so proud of her and can't wait to see the next part of her life. Time has not slowed down - I just have to keep up.

Fun part before graduation was that as soon as my DD finished getting ready the power went out and never came back on till later at night. I couldn't get ready but she looked amazing. Thankfully the Pavilion wasn't too hot.

She had a theme this year and stuck with it. Here's her parking spot.

@Summerbreeze : Congrats. And yes, every time I look at that picture I get so emotional. The second it was over and she came walking toward me, we locked eyes and both started crying.

Thank you for sharing. You can just feel the love in your pictures.
It brought back such memories for me when I had to "let go" of my children at this stage of their life.
Isn't life like this? All about the "let go's". You have to let them go of their bicycles as they balance on their own, let go when they enter the school building each year, let go when they drive by themselves the first time....and now, let them go as they enter the next journey.
Congrats....and it appears that maybe she is Aggieland bound??

@AggieBandMom : thank you - yes she is heading to College Station on July 5th for the Gateway program for 5 weeks then will be there fulltime for the fall semester. I'm glad she is not going far from home.
