AVERY UPDATE: It gives us GREAT pleasure to inform you all that our Avery girl has been cleared and released from the hospital, and is now settled and resting comfortably at home! Yay!! 👏🏻👏🏻 Make no mistake: Avery's road to a full and healthy recovery is far from over, but at least this part of the battle has been won! More rest will follow, and slow and steady therapy and rehab will begin. We know it won't be easy; there will be good days and difficult days. But this is one tough little lady with the heart of a champion, folks. And if the last week and a half is any indication, this determined youngster will power right on through it, and be back on her feet doing all the things she loves before you know it!

On behalf of Avery's family, and extended Electric Sundaes family, we cannot thank each and every one of you enough, for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support that you all have shown to Avery and her family, since this accident occurred. From the continuous prayers, streams of visitors, cards, flowers, and messages of encouragement, to supporting the #teamavery t-shirt sales and GoFundMe donation page, we have been completely blown away by your response. The support network Avery had, from both the Kingwood/Houston area, and from other states across the country, was truly amazing. There simply are no words to adequately express our gratitude. THANK YOU!! 🙏🙏

We realize we've been bombarding your social media feeds, with multiple daily updates for the last week and a half. We will be scaling back on those, but we will definitely keep you all routinely updated on Avery's recovery, as things progress!

Also, we will keep the GFM page active through the end of October, and we will continue to sell #teamavery shirts for as long as people keep requesting them. All funds raised through both of these channels will go directly to help the family offset Avery's out-of-pocket medical expenses, not covered by insurance. Thank you again, to all of you who have already purchased shirts or who have contributed to the Fund page, or both! Your generosity is truly appreciated!

Thank you all and God bless! 🙏💜🙏💜

PRAYERS FOR HEALING PLEASE: It's been almost a week now since Avery was released from the hospital. While she is happy to be home, and puts up a good front with visitors, the last week has been incredibly difficult. The poor girl has been suffering through some horrible nerve pain. Please keep her in your prayers that she can get some relief from her pains. Thank you. 🙏🏻 4951

@djchavez0921 : Thank you for the update. I've been thinking about this poor baby a lot. I have to tell you that my 14 yr old thought he was too cool for a helmet so he quit wearing one to and from school. I told him about sweet Avery and how the helmet probably saved her life. The next day, I watched him get his bike out of the garage.... and he had a helmet on. I just had to share because that girl makes a difference and who knows, she may have saved lives through her accident. I'll continue to pray for her. Is there anything she needs to help keep her occupied while she recovers? 4951

@Bearfin : I think she has more than she can handle at the moment, as far as things to occupy her mind go, but thank you so much for offering. You are too kind. I tell you, a couple of days into her stay at the hospital, in the midst of all the pain and surgeries she was going through, she made the comment, "if I can just get one person to wear a helmet". I will screen shot your comment and send it to her and her mother. I know it will make her day. Thank you!! 4951
