AVERY SURGERY UPDATE: Avery's leg surgery is complete and the doctor has reported that all went well. The family has respectfully requested that visitation for today be limited to IMMEDIATE FAMILY ONLY, to allow Avery to get some rest and recover, for the rest of the day. 10/15 EVENING AVERY UPDATE: In case you missed our earlier posts from today, Avery had successful leg surgery today. While that's a good thing, she has been in quite a bit of pain and discomfort throughout the rest of the day. It might be a long, rough night tonight. 😢 Please keep her in your prayers, that she may get a good nights rest, and feel better in the morning. We will post visitation information for tomorrow in our morning update. And now we wait......wait for the doctors to say all is good and treatment is done for now; wait for the doctors to clear her to pack up and go home, so she can begin healing and rehabbing. There's still a long road ahead before Avery can proclaim "mission accomplished", but with this young lady's drive, grit, and determination, there's no doubt she's going to get there. She'll be back to doing the things she loves before you know it! She's gotten this far with the backing of a phenomenal network of support, ALL OF YOU, and we can't thank you enough. We ask that you please continue to pray for Avery and her family, as they hopefully move on to the next phase of this ordeal, and as we've stated before, we can't thank you all enough for all the prayers, words of encouragement, #teamavery shirt purchases, and contributions to the Fund page.
