I read that Red Cross is only giving $400 to those in shelters and not to anyone that is staying with family or friends or in their home. I don't understand that because that money was donated for Harvey victims. 4951

@sweetie: That is crappy. I was going to tell my aunt to apply, but they are in a hotel so I guess they don't qualify. 4951

Lol ! They ask you. Yes guess you could say you're homeless. That's not lying because if you're staying with someone, it's because you can't stay in your house so that would make you homeless. 4951

Everyone needs to apply no matter where you stayed. If your home got water , just call them. If you were in hotel, still call them. 4951

@sweetie: It's true that a ton has been donated, but on the flip side, the needÂ is staggering.Â What happened in KWÂ happened all along the Houston area, and a big part of the Gulf Coast.Â Â Harvey donations, I'm sure are spreadÂ out amongst everyone impacted.Â The same for FEMA funding.Â I'm sure when it's all said and done, the total amount of damage is will mind-blowing. Â
