@SandyKnee : One of the side streets from 494 to the 59 feeder has several peacocks and one day I had to wait while they crossed the road in slow motion.

@Carol888 : Oh I wish I could have seen that! They are so beautiful.
When I lived in San Antonio there was a neighborhood that had at least a half dozen or so of them hanging around. People claimed they were better than watch dogs although more noise when then didn't have to be and a little more destructive, aka popping on things, scratches on vehicles from walking on them, etc.
