If you're interested in this gorgeous Husky, read below and contact us to set up a meet and greet!Luca, A390974, 1.5 years, Neutered Male, Heartworm Negative, 47 poundsLuca came to the shelter with his three siblings and his parents from what were clearly rough conditions. He was in one crate with three other dogs and was terrified of people, especially of being touched. The dogs were starved, were infected with three different parasites, and had Giardia. With much love, time, and TLC, Luca has made HUGE progress and is now ready for his forever home. He has a clean bill of health, is heart worm negative, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and has opened up to people.While Luca can be nervous around strangers that come on too strong, he has learned to love affection, scratches, and belly rubs. Everyone else in his family has found homes while he has been waiting 313 days for his. He does great on leash and isn’t reactive to people or other dogs. But since he didn’t receive the socialization he needed as a pup, he would do best as an only pet. He is house trained and would be happiest in a home with a fenced in yard. I can leave the doggy door open all day because he has not tried to escape, dig, and doesn’t bark. He knows “sit” and “down” and spends most of the day sleeping but is always down for a field trip.
