I think I should go buy land up there. In case it really gets a lot hotter all over the United States. Not many people over there.

Been there many, many times. It was always a challenge to walk around it as a kid and fun to watch the climbers.

@MsSims : I would not want to try and climb it but would be interesting walk around the top...lots of history there and abouts...

@MsSims : oh wow, very interesting explanation!!!! Thanks for that, I skimmed it, will get more coffee and read carefully. In short, "Geologists agree that Devils Tower began as magma, or molten rock buried beneath the Earth's surface. What they cannot agree upon are the processes by which the magma cooled to form the Tower, or its relationship to the surrounding geology of the area."
