Interview with Dr. Viviana Stellenwerf, Owner of Stellenwerf Dental Studio - Kingwood

As part of our ongoing "Getting to Know Your Local Businesses" series, this week we sat down with Dr. Viviana Stellenwerf, Owner of Stellenwerf Dental Studio!

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer and how long have you been around?
Stellenwerf Dental Studio opened on May 1, 2024. We are a general dentistry office offering a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to tooth-colored fillings, crowns, dentures, bridges, implant restorations, and even Botox for muscular jaw pain.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
Stellenwerf Dental Studio is not just a dental practice; it’s the continuation of a legacy deeply rooted in the Kingwood community. Dr. William Stellenwerf established his dental practice at our current location in 1987, practicing there until his retirement. Now, we embark on a new journey with Dr. Viviana at the helm.

Tell us a couple of things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
We combine state-of-the-art dental technology with compassionate care. Our office is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools, including digital x-rays that minimize radiation exposure while providing instant, detailed images. We also use intraoral cameras to ensure a comprehensive assessment of your oral health.

What is your favorite part of running this business?

I enjoy helping people feel more confident and happy with their smiles through cosmetic dentistry, as well as relieving pain.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Southern Methodist University and attended dental school at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. After graduating, I completed advanced education in general dentistry at the Miami VA Hospital. I then worked in the private sector, practicing family and general dentistry.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or events that you'd like to mention?

We are offering a special whitening bundle: $450 for in-office whitening, take-home trays, and two gels to continue whitening at home.
