Starting in March, we will be calling 311 to schedule a pick up for our heavy trash. Houston is saying that they're having to go up and down streets and some don't have any heavy trash . It will take them five days to pick it up and then they'll send you a picture of it picked up. It starts March 2. I don't like this at all.

It will work out better more efficient, Myself I like it they do in other areas of Houston like that. They show up. Handle everything and have excellent operators. COH does quite well with the amount of trash. They trying to run a more efficient operation. They trying things at least to make it better. Actually their like our military they're going to show up and eliminate the problem. I have no issues and really like Free. Great city service, tax dollars at work.
Texasdad : When they didn't pick up heavy trash back in October my neighbors and I called because we had heavy trash out there. I was told that it would be the next week well the next week came and they didn't pick it up I called again. She said it'll be next week. it came no pick up. I called again. I did this for seven weeks. Finally she told me you know what it'll be picked up when they get there whenever that is. I thought that was so rude of her and it took them two months to pick everything up.
sweetie : That is exactly why I am willing to pay an additional fee to have contracted trash service. Private enterprise is more efficient.

Weathergirl5 : Heavy trash only. But it is a pain in the behind because sometimes for heavy trash day, I might have a couple little things that I can just put it out there and know that it'll be picked up. I don't know if it has to be a large amount of trash now. We won't know until March it's for Forest Cove, and anyone else that has COH. I thought everybody in Kingwood had COH but it looks like they don't.

sweetie : That is better than for every trash day. But what a pain in the butt. I don't believe many subdivisions in KW have COH trash service, it might just be FC. I know we don't have COH trash service in Trailwood.
