Cbear : I agree, Skeeters is better than any chain. They have a fabulous grilled chicken sandwich. And they actually really grill their meat. We like to get carryout on the salmon dinner and bring it home. Its delicious. It comes with julienned fresh veggies and rice. And they give a senior discount.

CatalinaD : The only thing I have ever enjoyed was the patty melt. That said, I can only eat half otherwise I feel sluggish. I have a friend who says she feels the same way too if enjoying too much.

elguapo : For local places, I like Skeeters and Culvers. Totally different burgers from each of those establishments, but both are much better than the current state of Whataburger. I've been to a couple small-town Whataburgers in the last year and they seemed better than what we get in our high-fallutin' area.

Capybara : Very good Burgers, fresh buns too. I'm not a fan of their fries. But, Pete's have very good Onion Rings. By the way, I really like the Fries and Hotdogs Smash Burger.

McDonald's still is my go-to for just a burger on the run.

McDonald's still is my go-to for just a burger on the run.
