It is highly unlikely nobody in the military has killed anoher member of the military in 81 years.
In fact, but for 1 deserter, in 19 45, since the war of treasonous secession.
The difference hin this case are the actors.

Jesus never opposed the death penalty for himself or the others crucified with Him. Hebrews 12:2: looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus saw it as a joy. Its not about death. It's about what happens afterward. Our society gives these people ample time to repent and get their lives right with God. They have plenty of time and solitude to ponder, think, pray, read their Bible..... Something the rest of us need also.
