Who decides whether someone is fit to remain in society? Our judicial system, through laws, trials, and due process. That's why we have courts and sentencing. Society has a responsibility to hold individuals accountable for serious crimes. And what Islam has to do with this discussion is beyond me. Justice and accountability are not exclusive to any religion. We can disagree about capital punishment without confusing lawful punishment with personal revenge.
