I've noticed the mainstream media, even local stations like Channel 2, doing story after story after story DAILY about inflation and grocery prices. Pushing that narrative that seems to suggest inflation is crippling people and ruining the economy.

While prices are up and none of us enjoy this, is it really all that much worse now to warrant endless sob stories about how bad it is right before mid terms….hmmmm bc inflation under Biden was 9% friends…

Nobody cares about Biden anymore except a handful of yous. He ****ed up and now Trump is President. Inflation numbers are today's problems, not 3 years ago problems. Trump is President. He promised to reduce costs during his presidency, not during Biden's.

Im not defending Trump, i dont care lol. But the media definitely is trying to make it look like this economy is horrible, and its not, and they have a very powerful influence in how we all think and they aint afraid to use it.

Clloresch : Yes but my point is inflation was 9% then. Its less than half that now, and yet the media pushes doom and gloom. This isnt about who is in office bc each President has their own challenges. Its about what were being fed.

MissAmericanPie: Ummm… the text you posted says that Biden inherited the post-COVID economy where inflation was rampant and Trump has had a more stable economy.

You're shooting yourself in the foot here.

MissAmericanPie : A sliver of what makes life affordable for Americans? No, poor people, more than half of the population, don't think about inflation. We are too concerned about gas and groceries.

Clloresch : Financially better off than when? Im like everyone else, i see my bills rising but most of it is the dang water and electricity rates and property taxes here!

I think the truth is and always will be that things are never going to get cheaper, everything is going up. It always has. It always will.
